Details
Mask maintenance rules ensure that protective masks continue to perform as intended over time. Players are responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and replacing mask components as needed.
Lenses must be replaced according to manufacturer recommendations, which may vary depending on usage frequency, environmental exposure, and impact history. High-impact events or extreme temperature changes accelerate wear.
Cleaning agents containing ammonia, abrasives, or solvents may compromise lens coatings or structural integrity. Only approved cleaning solutions may be used.
Frames, foam, and retention straps must remain intact and firmly bonded to the mask structure. Loose foam, cracked frames, or deteriorated straps require immediate replacement.
These maintenance rules support long-term safety, visibility, and compliance across all regulated play environments.
