2. Independent, Non-Official Reference

Paintball Rulebook is a privately owned, independent reference site. It is not an official rule source for any paintball field, league, series, tournament, manufacturer, or organization unless explicitly stated in writing on a specific page.

Local rules, policies, and safety procedures issued by your field, league, or event operator always take priority over any information found on this Site. You must follow the rules, instructions, and safety requirements of the venue or organizer where you actually play.

3. Informational Purpose Only – No Professional Advice

The Site provides general reference information and commentary about paintball. All content is provided on an informational basis only. The Site does not provide:

• legal advice or legal interpretation of rules or regulations
• safety training, safety certification, or risk assessments
• medical, health, or fitness advice
• professional coaching, officiating, or technical instruction

You must not treat anything on this Site as a substitute for professional advice from qualified referees, field operators, safety officers, medical professionals, or legal professionals. You are solely responsible for verifying any rules, procedures, or information with appropriate local authorities and professionals before relying on it.

4. Assumption of Risk & Activity Disclaimer

Paintball and similar activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, eye injuries, impacts from paintballs, falls, collisions, and other hazards. This Site does not instruct you how to play, train, or participate. It only describes general concepts and rules at a high level.

Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as:

• a guarantee that any activity is safe
• a recommendation that you personally should take part in paintball
• confirmation that any field, event, or equipment meets safety standards

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with any paintball or physical activities you choose to engage in, whether or not you have read this Site. We are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, losses, or damages of any kind that may arise from your participation in paintball or related activities, or from your reliance on information found here.

The Site may include links to third-party websites and services (such as league websites, retailers, or social media), as well as embedded content like YouTube videos. These third-party resources are outside our control and are provided only for convenience and reference.

We do not endorse, manage, or guarantee any third-party content, products, services, or policies. Your use of those sites and services is entirely at your own risk and is governed by their own terms and conditions and privacy policies.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

You agree that any legal proceedings relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
