Details
Minimum safety checks provide a universal baseline for ensuring that all equipment entering the field is safe for players, referees, and spectators. These checks are conducted before the start of matches and may be repeated at any time.
Officials verify that markers pass the chronograph, maintain consistent firing behavior, and display no cracks, leaks, or missing components. Safety devices such as barrel covers must be attached in staging areas and removed only under referee instruction.
Failure to meet any minimum safety requirement may delay player entry until the issue is corrected under official supervision.
