Overview
The regulated minimum standards that equipment must meet before being cleared for use in sanctioned matches.
Key Points
- Markers must be fully assembled with no missing safety components
- O-rings and seals must be intact and free of leaks
- Regulators must produce stable output pressure
- Electronic components must function within certified limits
Details
Approved maintenance standards define the baseline conditions under which equipment is considered safe for competition. These standards ensure that markers do not malfunction, create unsafe operating pressures, or produce unintended firing behavior.
Markers must not exhibit air leaks, inconsistent cycling, or irregular velocity. All regulators must show stable output pressure through chronograph readings, and all safety devices—including barrel covers and locking mechanisms—must be present and functional.
Electronic markers must operate within certified firing parameters, including rate-of-fire caps and timing rules defined by the hosting league. Any deviation discovered during inspection may lead to equipment disqualification or corrective penalties.
