Details
1v1 paintball layouts are designed to create balanced engagements while allowing players to maneuver meaningfully. Symmetry is required so each player faces identical conditions.
Bunkers are spaced more sparsely compared to team formats to prevent excessive stalemates. Start points must provide equal cover and must be placed at equal distances from major bunkers.
Boundary lines must remain visible from all player angles, and any out-of-bounds contact results in a round loss. Organizers may publish layout diagrams before events or use randomized layouts for skill-testing formats.
